Celebrates Women's History Month

This March, young Democratic women in America can include two
more important woman milestones on their lists of inspiration:
this country has its first female Speaker of the House and one
of the top presidential candidates is a woman. While Speaker
Pelosi and Senator Clinton give pause for celebration, one
should not break out the party hats and noisemakers just yet as
the big picture for women in political leadership positions is a
sobering one.

A Victory for Voting Rights in NC

Great news! House Bill 91: In-Person Voting and Registration at
One-Stop Sites (otherwise known as "Same Day Registration")
passed the NC House yesterday with bi-partisan support! The
final vote was 66 to 45.
